My suggestion is you consider using a third-party solution known as Macrium Reflect (MR). After you have that, you no longer need the Recovery partition, could remove it, and see if you can merge the space in with the OS partition.
Second, if you want, you could use a third-party tool to create recovery media.
Any tampering with it will render it useless. First off, do not even attempt to move the Recovery partition.
