Since the main quest is nullified at the start, players can choose their starting weapons, gear, spells, character class, and birthsign, then select what starting location they will have they can choose from any hold, city, town, or inn. Skyrim Unbound allows players to skip the opening sequence and decide whether or not they want to play as the Dragonborn. A new major mod by "chinagreenelvis", Skyrim Unbound, allows the player to do just that. However, there are a few who wish they could just skip the entire Dragonborn quest and just explore and enjoy the world without it.
